COVID-19 Update

Thursday 26 March 2020

Covid-19 Statement

Due to the increased risk of Covid-19 transmission, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily stop all clinical treatment until further notice.

  • Keeping patients and staff safe is our number one priority at all times. Without adequate protective equipment, we cannot operate to our essential strict safety standards. We are in the process of trying to obtain the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The PPE is currently in high demand and is being prioritised for HSE staff. We are stopping clinical treatment initially for 2 weeks.

We will constantly review the situation, and any updates will be on our social media/website pages: and

  • We will be providing an emergency triage phone service for our patients to help them through this period and will try to care for you without direct contact. If you have experienced dental trauma, severe swelling or are experiencing severe pain not managed by painkillers, you can call us on:

Monday – Friday 10am to 12 noon

Alternatively email:

  • Please DO NOT come to the practice, and if possible do not attend hospital A&E services until we have talked to you over the phone to see if we can help first. We need to try and avoid straining HSE services further. We can provide prescriptions over the phone and email to your local pharmacy if required.

We want to thank you and hope you understand the need for these difficult temporary measures. We look forward to seeing you all when normal service resumes; until then please stay safe.
